Stud Farm Fernando d´Andrade
The stud farm is composed of pure Lusitano horses, of pure blood Andrade, originating from the d'Andrade stud farm with over 110 years of history. The Andrade horse is considered a sub-breed of the Lusitano horse given its distinctive morphological characteristics, and the fact that this lineage is present in, and gave rise to most of the best Lusitano stud farms worldwide.
Herdade do Azinhal
In addition to the Lusitano breed, the stud farm breeds Sorraia horses - a rare breed typical of the Iberian Peninsula, with fewer than two hundred horses worldwide – that are said to have influenced the development of the Lusitano and Andaluzian breed, as well as the horses bred in the Americas.
